Russian attacked the police

KIEV. 26 Nov. UNN. In the city of Kotelnikovo of the Volgograd region 21-the summer local resident with a knife attacked two police officers, reports UNN with reference to the official website of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

According to investigators, around 8:00 a.m. the suspect assaulted a police officer and a traffic policeman, who at that time was in the service. Man attacked with knife first on a police officer, striking him two blows in the region of the back, and then caused incised wound of the person to the employee of GAI.

During the fight, the knife broke, therefore maliciously tried to escape from the scene. Police used a service weapon, wounding the assailant in the shoulder and forearm.

TFR opened a criminal case under article 317 of the Criminal Code of Russian Federation (an encroachment on life of law enforcement), which includes 12 years in prison to life.
