Duda does not waive the visit to Ukraine after Waszczykowski

Polish President Andrzej Duda said that considering a visit to Ukraine, despite the fact that the foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski dissuaded him from this idea. He said this in comments to Nasz Dziennik, the Polish Agency PAP.

“We all consider it”, – said the President of Poland on the question of whether he is going to Ukraine in December.

Duda said that she wants to visit the graves of poles in Kharkov, and also recalled that on January 17, Poland will become a non-permanent member of the UN security Council to consider “the question of Ukraine.”

“This visit will allow you to understand what is happening in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions”, – said the Polish President.

“At the same time, we also have bad signals from the Ukrainian side, which, for me, the President of the Republic of Poland, is unacceptable. I don’t agree that people who occupy high positions in the Ukrainian government, have views that are actually anti-Polish” – said Duda.

7 November 2017, the head of the Polish foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski, who has repeatedly criticized the Ukrainian view on controversial issues of the common history of Poland and Ukraine, said that he would encourage the Players not to go in December in Kharkov due to “difficult situation”.
