Ambassador of Serbia to Ukraine was summoned to Belgrade for consultations

KIEV. 9 Nov. UNN. Foreign Minister of Serbia Ivica Dacic called for consultations Serbian Ambassador to Ukraine rade Bulatovic. This is the website of the Serbian foreign Ministry, reports UNN.

The Minister plans to discuss with the Ambassador on current issues in relations with Ukraine and further measures related to them.

In the Serbian foreign Ministry stressed that Serbia has repeatedly declared support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine, which is also confirmed during Serbia’s chairmanship of the OSCE.

“Serbia has taken several concrete steps in pursuit of the Serbian citizens fighting abroad, including the Ukraine, the demonstrated commitment to its international legal obligations,”- said the foreign Minister of Serbia.

However, the Minister Dacic said that Serbia is well known that Ukrainian mercenaries participated in the crimes committed by Croatian forces against the Serbian people in Croatia, “which Ukraine, unlike Serbia, has never been condemned”.

The Ministry insists that Serbia remains committed to the establishment of good relations with Ukraine on the principles of mutual respect.

We will remind, the leader of the opposition Pro-Russian Serbian radical party Vojislav Seselj called on the government to expel the Ukrainian Ambassador Alexander Alexandrovich.
