Investigators are asking for the second participant of road accident in Kharkov, the arrest without bail

KIEV. 7 Nov. UNN. The driver of the Volkswagen Touareg Gennady Dronovu, which is the second participant of road accident in Kharkiv, gave a suspicion under part 3 of article 286 of the criminal code of Ukraine, the investigators petition in court about election to it measures of restraint in form of detention without possibility of bail. This was announced during a briefing the chief of the Department of national police of Kharkiv region Oleh Bech, reports UNN.

“Indeed he (Gennady Dronovu) declared a suspect under part 3 of article 286 of the criminal code of Ukraine (violation of rules of traffic safety or transport operation by the person driving the vehicle, entailed death of several persons). In the opinion of the investigator, of the collected materials and results of the examination, we believe that he is and has the status of suspect justified,” – said O. Bekh.

“Investigators made a petition for election to it measures of restraint in form of detention without possibility of bail”, – he added.

According to part 3, article 286 of the criminal code offence is punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term from five till ten years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
