In Lviv of tspau delay issuing nearly 4.5 thousand passports

LVIV-KYIV. 7 Nov. UNN. Due to large demand for production of passports Lviv Centres for the provision of administrative services to delay issuing nearly 4.5 thousand passports. This was reported in the press service of the Lviv city Council, reports UNN.

The processing and issuing of passports remains the most popular service of tspau in the city. With the beginning of the year it is already used by more than 25 thousand people. At the same time, as the subject of the provision of this service is the Migration service, of tspau, as in other relevant structures, because of the increased demand there are significant delays in issuing passports.

“As of November 6, given the statistical data, there is considerable delay of administrative services for registration, issuance and exchange of passport of citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad, and also services in registration and issuance of passport of citizen of Ukraine with the contactless electronic media for the first time after reaching the age of 14, the subject of which are the territorial units GU GMS in the Lviv region. The total number of outstanding applications for this service is 4 498. In percentage terms this amounts to 22% more overdue results of the administrative services than last month”, — reported in the Lviv city Council.

As reported UNN, the Ukrainians have issued more than 5.5 million biometric passports.
