Canada has suspended military training mission in Iraq
Uncategorized October 29, 2017KIEV. 29 Oct. UNN. Canada has decided to suspend training Kurdish forces in Iraq. This was stated by the head of Department of strategic communications of the Ministry of defence of Canada Colonel Jay Dzhanzen, reports UNN with reference to CBC News.
“Given the variability of the current situation, the task force on special operations Canada has temporarily suspended its assistance to the various elements of the security forces of Iraq,” said the Colonel.
It is noted that the restoration of canadian military training operations will depend on the situation in Iraq.

“Only there would be more clarity on the relationship between Iraqi security forces and key priorities and targets for the future – task force will resume its activity”, – he stressed.
We will remind, the government of Germany decided to suspend military training for Kurds in connection with the growing tension in the relations between the Iraqi Kurds and the Central government of Iraq.
