The case of fugitive Klimenko: the military Prosecutor’s office carries out a number of searches

Investigators of the Main military Prosecutor’s office of the GPU today on the basis of the relevant court permits conduct searches by the place of residence of the persons involved in the schemes of the former Minister of income and fees Alexander Klimenko . About it reports a press-service GPU.

“For the purpose of obtaining evidence of illegal money laundering, conducted a search in premises of the authorized persons of a political party Successful country”, – noted in press service.

Main military Prosecutor’s office of the GPU carries out pre-judicial investigation in criminal proceedings on the grounds of criminal offenses under part 1 of article 255, part 1 of article 256, part 2 St. 364, part 3 of article 212, part 3 of article 209, and other articles of the Criminal code.

Klimenko suspected of VAT refunds into accounts of the fictitious enterprises under his control that have caused the state losses of more than $ 3 billion.

On 18 April, the Main military Prosecutor’s office summoned for questioning Klimenko.
