The cause of the fire at the Odessa camp could be forgotten included the boiler

The fire in Odessa recreation complex “Victoria”, which resulted in the death of three children, could occur from-for left without supervision of the included water boiler. This was stated by the Prosecutor of Odessa region Oleg Zhuchenko, reports UNIAN.
He noted that for final conclusions it is necessary to complete all of the assigned examinations.
“However, I confirm that investigating authorities have established the presence of residues of boiler in the place where it was the epicenter of the fire. In addition, according to the testimony of witnesses residing in this room, the head of the group said she forgot the kettle and ran…” – said Zhuchenko.
He noted that currently experts calculate in seconds how much time has passed from the moment of ignition till the moment of call the employees of gschs. The calculations are carried out taking into account telephone calls, correspondence with the parents of children when minors asked to be taken home.
“The time of extinguish fire independently, without the involvement of rescuers, a phone call and arrival. By the way, arrival was 4 minutes. That is, answers to all questions will give appropriate expertise. But the available information gives reason to imagine that it could be the cause of the fire,” – said Zhuchenko.
We will remind, the fire on the territory of children’s improving complex “Victoria” in Odessa occurred late on September 15. The building where the fire broke out, burned to the ground. In the fire killed the three girls.
The police opened criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 270 (violation of established by legislation requirements of fire security), prosecution – 367 (office negligence) Criminal code of Ukraine.
In connection with the incident was arrested the Director of “Victoria” Petros Sarkisyan and teacher Natalia Ancic, which functional responsibilities should be responsible for fire safety. They reported about suspicion. On 18 September the court decided to arrest both of them without the right of bail. On 28 September the court dismissed Ancic to liberty under the guarantee of people’s deputies.
