The death of children in Odessa: suspended three officials of the city Council

The mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov suspended from posts three officials of the city administration in connection with the fire at camp Victoria. About this on his page in Facebook wrote the Deputy of the Odessa regional Council Anna Pozdnyakova.

According to the report, suspended the Vice-mayor for humanitarian Affairs, head of Department of capital construction and head of the city GASK (Inspection of state architectural control – ed.).

Also the Deputy noted that the city Council proposed to establish a working group to conduct an internal investigation.

According to open sources, the Vice-mayor for humanitarian issues is Zinaida Tsvirinko, head of Department of capital construction – Boris Panov, head of city of GASK – Alexander Avdeev.

Recall the case of a fire in camp Victoria in Odessa the investigation at the moment suspects the Director of the institution and is responsible for fire safety.

Yesterday the Prosecutor’s office conducted searches in the education Department of Odessa city Council and regional Department of the State service of emergency situations.

15 September 2017 late in the evening in the camp occurred a fire – lit wooden building of one of the buildings. Killed three children.
