The fire at the Odessa camp: two officials declared suspicion

Information about the detention and handing over of the suspect to the artistic Director of the children’s camp “Victoria” is not true. This was announced by adviser to the chief of the Department of Ukraine in Odessa region Ruslan Forostyak in Facebook.
“The information spread by some media that you like, or arrested, or handed to the suspect, the head of the creative team of children’s camp – not true,” he said.
He also added that as of the evening of 16 September, the suspicion is declared two officials of a children’s institution, is a Director, and is responsible for fire safety, these persons are detained as article 208 criminal procedure code, the measure of restraint by court order.
We will remind, the fire on the territory of children’s improving complex “Victoria” in Odessa began in the late evening on September 15. The building, which caught fire, burned to the ground. During a fire killed two children, and two were hospitalized. Later the police reported that the found fragment of the girl’s body that were missing. According to eyewitnesses, some of the children during the fire jumped out of the Windows of the building. The police opened criminal proceedings.
