Sri Lanka crocodile killed a correspondent Financial Times

In Sri Lanka the attack of a crocodile killed a British correspondent of the Financial Times newspaper. It is reported by the BBC.

Eyewitnesses said that the 24-year-old Paul Macklin from Surrey crocodile dragged into the river, attacking him when he washed his hands. Later his body was found in the lagoon.

“Paul Macklin was a brilliant young journalist with a great future in FT. We will miss him,” said Financial Times editor Lionel Barber.

According to the Agency, McClean would be a graduate of Oxford and a member of team FT in London.

Previously on the river there were three attacks by crocodiles on humans, but none of them died.
