In Kharkov, head of the Department of the University detained for bribe 380 thousand UAH

In Kharkov militiamen detained on a bribe of the head of Department one of the leading higher educational institutions of the city. Reports a press about it-service SBU.

“Officials at the direction of the University administration extorted from his colleague – the head of the other Department – 380 thousand UAH for the renewal of the labour contract for a new term. Security officers have detained the official of one of the Kharkov near exchangers in obtaining all sum of a bribe”, – stated in the message.

In fact was opened criminal proceedings under part 3 St. 368 (bribery) of the criminal code of Ukraine.

The detention was made by employees of the security Service under the procedural leadership of the military Prosecutor of Kharkiv garrison forces ATO.

14 September 2017 the teacher of the Kiev national economic University. Vadym Hetman was arrested at work on suspicion of extorting bribes from students.
