Former German Chancellor Gerhard schröder will become the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rosneft.
It is reported by Interfax , citing a source familiar with the text of the draft Directive of the government.
The Directive itself was agreed the relevant ministries and submitted to the government. It says that Schroeder is the “authoritative global policies, consistently acting for strategic cooperation in Germany and Europe with Russia in the energy sphere.” In this regard, and offered him the post of Chairman.
We will remind, the leader of the German CSU called Schroeder a “Russian mercenary”.
