On the Maidan of Independence presented the battle flags of military units

President Petro Poroshenko and the head of the armed forces, the state border guard service and national guard were awarded honorary titles of military units, the personnel of which have distinguished themselves in the course of the ATO.

24 separate mechanized brigade was awarded the honorary title name of king Danylo. The personnel of the brigade in the battles for Krasny Liman, Yampil and Zakotne, the liberation of Slavyansk, Lisichansk Siverska and have proved themselves worthy the name of national hero of Ukraine.

72 separate mechanized brigade was given the honorary name the name of the Black Cossacks.

First single tank brigade was awarded the honorary title of Siverskaya. Servicemen of the brigade distinguished themselves during fighting for Donetsk airport, Pisky, Marinka, Krasnogorovka.

16th separate brigade of army aviation was given the honorary name of Brody. The brigade distinguished themselves during the liberation of Slavyansk, Krasny Liman, Kramatorsk, Dzerzhinsk.

The first crew of expeditious purpose of national guard named Peter Doroshenko. The team scored when carrying out special tasks in the area of the ATO.

Battle flags handed over to the Military Institute of armored forces. Graduates of the institutions distinguished in the ATO, 88 paratroops battalion, 137 separate naval infantry battalion, the Eastern regional office of the SBS.
