Trump closed the CIA program to arm the opposition in Syria – media

KIEV. July 20. UNN. US President, Donald trump has decided to close the CIA to assist in the arming and military training of the opposition in Syria, reports The Washington Post, citing its own sources, reports UNN.

According to sources, trump has made a decision on the termination of assistance to the Syrian moderate opposition after a meeting with the head of the CIA Mike Pompeo and his assistant for national security General Herbert McMaster on the eve of the first meeting with the us leader and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In the media noted that according to the decision, trump wanted to contribute to the conclusion of the Moscow agreement on ceasefire in Syria.
