In the Odessa region intend to export wine to the EU

It is noted that in Odessa region the main export commodities – corn, sunflower oil, flour, honey and nuts. Also, there is a project with truffles, which have recently started to grow in the region. There are interesting export markets and products in mechanical engineering – ropes, cables, cooling equipment, etc. Special attention, experts say, should be paid to winemaking. Here do I propose to create a cluster to allow smaller producers to promote their products abroad.

“Odessa is one of the leaders in the development of organic agriculture, and we have to catch the wave. Consumers in the EU, North America, Asia want a healthy food that is suitable and want to be sure in its quality. Therefore, the organic market in Ukraine is developing very fast, we have more than 400 hectares of land that we have reserved as organic, and they will be increased,” – said Deputy Minister of agrarian policy and food of evrointegratsii Olga Trofimova.
We will remind, Ukrainians began to consume more wine and domestic wine industry has good prospects for development.
In particular, according to the expert A. Bezugly, Ukraine gradually develop small wine producers, grape varieties and combinations of blends is increasing.
“Ukrainian wine is very attractive in price and quality of products is improved. Do not forget also about the Ukrainian wine, which can be attributed to a unique heritage. What is the range of fortified and dessert wines “Koktebel” — “Madera”, “Muscat”, “Cahors”, which has won dozens of awards at international competitions,” he said.
