A resident of Uzhgorod tortured 9-year-old adopted boy

UZHGOROD-KIEV. July 17. UNN. Today, the staff of the special Department of the investigative Department of the police of Transcarpathia under the procedural management of Prosecutor’s office examined all the evidence and reported the suspicion to the woman who adopted five children and was tortured by his adopted son. This was reported to UNN in the Department of communication of the police of the Transcarpathian region.

Large 37-year-old resident of Uzhgorod declared suspicion under part 1 of article 121 of the criminal code, part 2 of article 125 of the criminal code and part 1 of article 127 of the criminal code, that is, damage of varying severity and torture.

“Initially, the police started investigation on the fact of willful failure to care for the child, however, the investigation revealed that 37-year-old beat uzhgorodi taken custody of the boy, teasing him and even tortured. The prosecution appealed to the court with the petition for election concerning women of a measure of restraint in form of detention, which will be considered tomorrow”, – told UNN press Secretary of GU Ministry of emergency in Transcarpathian region Tatiana Shchegoleva.

In may 2016 at the clinical center of neurosurgery and neurology, Uzhgorod appealed to the suspect that brought the child in serious condition. She tried to negotiate with the health care provider about taking the boy outside of the hospital, but the medic refused.

“The child in the centre was examined and found on his body the marks of severe beatings, burns and intoxication. Foster mom explained to the doctor that the child fell in the tub. The doctors in this story did not believe, and took the boy to the intensive care unit. There the child told an adult. The boy told doctors that he was beaten with a belt with iron buckle and plastic hanger, starved, tied with duct tape, tortured with a hot spoon “, – said T. Shchegoleva.

During a long stay in hospitals, the boy was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury, he underwent surgery for skin grafts, as these wounds could not heal on its own. Then the child was in the detention center, the rehabilitation center and returned to Perechyn boarding school, where at the time took him under the care of a grief-mother.

In July 2016, the suspect abandoned him, which had violence, and on 13 June 2017 and abandoned by his sister. In General, the large woman took custody of five children from the same family. Four girls and a boy parents died, and before getting into the family suspected the children lived in Perechyn boarding school.

Now a suspect’s own six children and three adopted. During the investigation, the woman gave birth to another child. She says that children, which she refused, inadequate and hysterical. Moreover, the woman claims that the boy himself had caused the injuries.

“The child underwent psychological and psychiatric examination, which found the boy completely normal. However, after he became scared, anxious and withdrawn”, – said the press-Secretary of the Transcarpathian of militia T. Shchegoleva.

As it became known to UNN from its own sources in law enforcement bodies, the police will check and the corresponding social services that are not noticed and not reacted to the facts of abuse of a child. But the question remains about the future custody of their three sisters who are still in the family of the suspect.
