Odessa border guards detained a foreigner, who was wanted by Interpol

ODESSA-KIEV. MAY 30. UNN. In Odessa region frontier guards detained the citizen of Moldova, who was wanted by Interpol for drug smuggling. About it the correspondent was reported in the press service GNSU.

As have informed in a press-service, the attacker found in the international checkpoint “Kuchurgan”. The man tried to cross the Ukrainian-Moldovan border.

“During carrying out all necessary registration procedures for the border guards established that 39-the summer citizen of the neighboring country for 4 years is in the international wanted list through Interpol. As it turned out, the alien is wanted by law enforcement authorities for criminal prosecution for drug trafficking”, – said the Agency.

The detainee transferred to the staff of the National police of Ukraine. On this fact notified to the Ukrainian Bureau of the Interpol in g. Kiev.

As reported UNN, more than 1 thousand 300 positives on the Interpol database was implemented by the border guards in Ukraine.
