Russian SU-27 approached a US Navy aircraft over the Black sea

Russian su-27 fighter jet approached a US Navy aircraft over the Black sea. The incident was the second in a week, reports Fox News.

The latest incident, according to the channel, occurred on the morning of 12 may in international airspace over the Black sea. Russian su-27 flew 12 metres from the American P-8 Poseidon.

Earlier it was reportedthat on may 9 there was the same incident: then the fighter of the Russian air force su-27 flew over the Black sea to six meters from anti-submarine reconnaissance aircraft of the US Navy.

Press attache of the us Navy in Europe Pamela Kunze noted that the planes and ships of the U.S. Navy “regularly interact” with the Russian military in international waters, and most often, are “safe and professional”.

The US air force are about fifty Boeing P-8A Poseidon, is designed to detect and destroy enemy submarines, reconnaissance and other tasks.
