Pinchuk shared gas business with the Dutch
The AMC has provided Arawak Energy corresponding permission
Dutch company Arawak Energy Ukraine B. V. (a member of the Vitol group of companies) has increased to 50% share in the holding company Geo-Alliance Oil-Gas Public Limited (Cyprus), which brings together a number of gas companies of the businessman Victor Pinchuk in Ukraine.
This was reported in the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU).
The AMC has provided Arawak Energy a permit.
Note, in 2012 the AMCU has permitted Arawak Energy Ukraine B. V. to buy more than 25% of the shares of Geo-Alliance Oil-Gas Public Limited.
We will remind, Arawak Energy, engaged in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons in Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. The company is in the Vitol group, one of the largest operators in the world energy market. Geo-Alliance is controlled by businessman Viktor Pinchuk. Last year, the group mined 246 million cubic .meters of natural gas and 47 thousand tons of oil and gas condensate.
