In the Odessa region will judge the Chairman of the village Council for a bribe

ODESSA-KIEV. May 3. UNN. Odessa oblast Prosecutor’s office sent to court indictment against the Chairman of the Board of agriculture in Ovidiopolsky district under part 3 of article 368 UK of Ukraine (receiving officer improper benefits). About it the correspondent was reported to UNN in the press service of the Prosecutor of Odessa region.

“It is established that the head of the local government demanded and received $ 300. from the businessman for coordination and signing of the lease agreement non-residential premises”, – is spoken in the message.

The staff of the regional Prosecutor’s office together with employees of Department of protection of the economy police in the Odessa region in January 2017 exposed agriculture Chairman during obtaining illegal benefit. Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings carried out by the investigators GU NP in the Odessa region.

On this fact investigators opened criminal proceedings under part 3 St. 368 (acceptance of an offer, promise or obtaining illegal benefit by the official) Criminal code of Ukraine.

To the man threatens till 10 years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to 3 years with confiscation of property.
