In the capital’s suburbs there are at least two interesting historical monument. Parkhomivka

The beginning of the XX century was the era of modernism in architecture. This sensual style was rarely touched the Orthodox churches, but the Church of the Holy virgin in the village of Parkhomivka — a pleasant exception. Mosaics in the interior are collected on sketches by Nicholas Roerich — a great painter was a friend of Golubev Industrialists, patrons of the temple.

Dendropark “Sofievka”

Mill near Uman

Railway in ul’yanovka

Line haivoron — Golovanevsk — one of the few remaining sections of the once vast network of narrow gauge Railways Ukrainian. Miniature locomotives and carriages, to avoid putting in scrap, now young passengers ride for children’s Railways in large cities. But here in the village of ulianivka, all grown-up, retro-transport albeit at a snail’s pace, but still brings the residents in the surrounding villages. Lupolove

A watermill of the XIX and XX centuries, like small palaces or castles. Pokrovka

Nerubayskoye
