On extortion “the electronic bribe” lost policeman in Kirovograd region

KROPYVNYTS’KE-KYIV. April 20. UNN. The investigative Department of Prosecutor’s office of Kirovograd region under the operational support SBU extortion 4 thousand dollars. undue advantage exposed the police major. This was reported in the regional Prosecutor’s office, reports UNN.

According to information, senior inspector of the Department of postal and telecommunications GUNP in Kirovograd region for a specified amount of the bribe promised to solve the issue of the failure of a person to criminal prosecution and termination criminal proceedings against him. The detainee chose the “modern way” of obtaining illegal benefit — electronic money.

After the transfer part caused by the funds to the specified e-wallet, the policeman was arrested by investigators of the Prosecutor’s office.

Now the policeman is reported about suspicion under part 3 St. 368 (acceptance of an offer, promise or obtaining illegal benefit by the official) Criminal code of Ukraine and the issue of election of a measure of restraint.
