The police exposed the channel of trafficking in women

THE DNIEPER-KIEV. 19 Feb. UNN. Illegal activities involving the sexual exploitation of women abroad, exposed the police officers. About this UNN Center reported in a press-service of the Channel.

Transnational channel for trafficking exposed by law enforcement authorities, led to Turkey. It is established that the organization of the trade in “live goods” involved resident of the Poltava and Dnepropetrovsk regions, 30-32 years.

Accomplices recruited young women under the age of 30 years and has provided their travel to Turkey. Militiamen have warned the departure of two women recruited abroad, stopping their departure from the airport “Borispol”.

Initiated pre-trial investigation under part 2 of article 149 of the criminal code of Ukraine (human trafficking or other illegal agreement concerning the person). The sanction of article provides imprisonment for the term from five till twelve years.
