Dead poet A. Volokhonsky

Rock musician Boris Grebenshchikov said that A. Volokhonsky through his creativity will remain forever in the history of music.
“The man who wrote such a brilliant song, should remain in the history of Russian music forever. The best songs I’ve ever heard and did not sing anything”, – said Boris Grebenshchikov.
Anri Volokhonsky was born March 19, 1936 in Leningrad, graduated from the chemical-pharmaceutical Institute. In the late 1950s he began to write poems, songs and plays, were published in samizdat. Only one of his work was published in the USSR – bike “centaur” in the journal “Aurora” in 1972.

In 1973 he went to Israel after 12 years moved to the German Munich, where he worked as a news editor at “Radio Liberty”. Since 2004 A. Volokhonsky lived in the village of Rexingen near the town of Horb.
