In Kharkov, the spy received a sentence for a fictional criminal case

Leninsky district court of Kharkiv sentenced the 38-year-old investigator of a Department of State fiscal service in Kharkiv region to five years in prison and deprived of his special rank of major of tax police for trumped-up criminal proceedings. About it reports a press-service of the regional Prosecutor’s office.

The official is found guilty of the completed attempt at attracting obviously innocent to criminal responsibility, combined with artificial creation of evidence (part 2 of article 15, part 2 of article 372 of the criminal code of Ukraine).

“In March 2016 tax collector carried out the investigation in criminal proceedings on the fact of illegal manufacture of excisable goods, in particular alcoholic beverages. However, as it turned out, the offense was false and the accused had performed his role for a fee. Fiskal and thus “increased”, – stated in the message.

As noted in Prosecutor’s office, in court it was proved that the investigator intentionally made false official documents, including the Protocol inspection of the scene, interrogation of witnesses, and the circumstances of the criminal offense, allegedly set a pre-trial investigation during the investigation.

“All of this “evidence base” together with other materials produced by the law provided for approval to the Prosecutor. Even brought the pensioner beggar, “played” the role of the accused, who was acquired in a thrift store and buy clothes”, – stated in the message.

However, the suspect and the evidence have caused the Prosecutor serious doubts. The result was the criminal proceedings are ended by a court sentence.

Earlier today, March 30, it was reportedthat on suspicion in bribery detained one of the leaders of the Main Department of civil service for work in the Kharkiv region and the head of GU.
