In Odessa detained a wanted leader of a criminal gang

As a result of joint operation of the regional office of the National police and security Service managed to track down and arrest the 26-year-old leader of the ethnic criminal group which acted on the territory of Odessa region. About it reports a press-service of Ukraine in Odessa region.

The detainee was wanted on suspicion of crimes related to weapons and drugs. Law enforcement authorities suspect that the young man was a protege of the thief in law by nickname Guli, who is now serving his sentence, was appointed “looking” over the ethnic organized criminal group in Odessa region.

“In November 2016 the leader of the gang was detained by the staff of criminal investigation Department of the Odessa police, and Cord. During the search he had seized weapons and drugs, for which criminal proceedings were opened”, – stated in the message.
