The NEB conducts searches in Odessa regarding the sale of the city hall of the administrative building
Uncategorized March 25, 2017KIEV. March 24. UNN. The national anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine performs the searches in Odessa in the case of the sale of the city hall of the administrative building at inflated prices, reports UNN , citing the press service of NABOO.
“On March 24, investigators of the National anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Specialized anticorruption Prosecutor’s office carried out a series of raids in the city of Odessa”, – have informed in a press-service.
NABU explained that the investigative actions are carried out in the pre-trial investigation of criminal proceedings on the fact of appropriation of local budget funds in especially large sizes officials of the local government acting in collusion with representatives of the commercial sector. We are talking about the sale of the Odessa city hall the administrative building at inflated prices.
“During the preliminary investigation detectives Bureau has established that the building in the whole of the property complex of the state enterprise “Plant “region” for early 2016 sold for 11 million. In August 2016, it was given a separate address and has sold over 4 million. At the same time in September of the same year, the new owner suggested that the building of Odessa city hall are already over 185 million UAH. Surgery sale took place in December 2016″, – noted in Department.
The detection of crime and the timely blocking of funds in the accounts of the society, on behalf of which made the sale of the building at an inflated price, said in NABOO, became possible thanks to the active civic position of inhabitants of the city of Odessa, and a number of people’s deputies of Ukraine and public organizations, which promptly turned to NABOO, statements about the crime, in its Commission.
Pre-trial investigation according to the facts the detectives Bureau began in November last year. Now investigative actions proceed.
As reported UNN, the CEC refused to provide the NEB with information about the functioning of the state register of voters.
