The Ministry plans to reform the examination order to establish disability

KIEV. July 30. UNN. The Ministry of health of Ukraine is working on reforming the examination of children and adult population of Ukraine on issues of disability. This was during the briefing said the Deputy Minister of health Irina Mikituk, the correspondent of UNN.

“The Ministry of health is working to reform the order of examination of children and adult population of Ukraine on the establishment of a disability… the Examination of children for granting the status of conduct of the medical Advisory Committee, providing medical assistance to children. Adult population – medico-social expert Commission. According to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of December 2009 №1317 “Questions mediko-social examination”, examination is carried out to applicants for disability in the direction of the health facilities after conducting the diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation measures in the presence of data confirming persistent impairment of body functions” – said Makichuk.

Mikicic noted that the Ministry of health in April recommended the establishment of a disability commissions to use the standard resolution of the government on the disability in absentia.

She also noted that the Ministry of health is working to ensure that the process of establishing disability was transparent, accessible, simplistic and not interfere with patient in obtaining appropriate support.

We will remind, the government sent more than 611 million UAH for compensation for housing to veterans of the war in the Donbass.
