On the murder of a military physician in the Donbass, the criminal proceedings are opened
KIEV. July 14. UNN. In the Donetsk region Prosecutor’s office launched an investigation into the firing of medical personnel during the evacuation of the body of the deceased soldier. It is reported by UNN citing the press service of the Office of the attorney General.
“The Prosecutor’s office of Donetsk region initiated pre-trial investigation on the fact of violations of the laws or customs of war, coupled with the deliberate murder by the representatives of extralegal armed forces of the Russian Federation (part 2 of article 438 of the criminal code of Ukraine)”, – stated in the message.
It is noted that prosecutors found that 13 July 2020 when you try to evacuate the body of the deceased commander of the reconnaissance platoon, who stepped on an unknown explosive device near the village of zaytsevo Bakhmut district, representatives of illegal armed formations of the Russian Federation carried out the shelling from large-caliber firearms military, which had marked the medical staff.
To evacuate the body of a soldier, it was agreed the silence. At the same time, representatives of the illegal armed formations of the Russian Federation, providing promises of a cease-fire, pursued the aim of carrying out attacks on medical staff.
“The attack killed Sergeant, senior combat medic air assault company commander, and Deputy chief of staff received injuries of moderate severity. Thus, prosecutors see in the actions of the NFP representatives of the Russian Federation signs of treachery, which is directly prohibited by article 37 of the Protocol Additional to the Geneva conventions of 12 August 1949”, – added in the message.
This is the third evidence of the treachery after the Ilovaisk tragedy and the defense of the Donetsk airport.
Now the bodies are still on the battlefield, since representatives of armed groups controlled by the state-occupier, does not guarantee the cease-fire.
