Zelensky promises to end land reform despite resistance
KIEV. March 10. UNN. The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that land reform in Ukraine will be completed. The Head of state said in conversation with the journalist of the edition Bloomberg, transmits UNN with reference to the press service of the OP.
“Land reform is a reform of the President and of the government – we are all responsible. The most difficult reform, because for nearly 30 years no one could even begin debate on the bill (about the market of lands of agricultural purpose – ed.) in committees. We finish this reform”, – said the President.
He noted that the vote for the bill on the land market in the second reading is only the first stage of land reform in the future “it is necessary to adopt a law on the referendum and regulate land registry”, – is spoken in the message of the OP.
Zelenski also said that he considers expedient to recover the Ministry of agrarian policy.
“After all, when something so complicated as the land reform – we need some people in Ukraine, a separate organization. It needs to say and do Minister”, – he said.
The President also expressed confidence that, despite the resistance of opposition “and blocking “spam” amendments to the law on market of agricultural land will be adopted by the Verkhovna Rada”, reports a press-service.
As reported UNN, earlier Zelensky said that Ukraine’s course will not change after the personnel decisions, particularly with regard to cooperation with the International monetary Fund.
