Goncharuk said that Ukraine will receive the last tranche Microfine EU
KIEV. 28 Jan. UNN. Ukraine may receive the second part of the macro-financial assistance of the European Commission of 500 million euros in the first quarter of 2020. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexey Goncharuk during a press approach with the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis Brussels, the correspondent of UNN.
“We expect that tranche, of which I have spoken, may be received in the first quarter of this year, that is in the near future – the coming weeks-months,” – said Goncharuk, answering a journalist’s question about what time frame to fulfill all the conditions for the latest tranche of macro-financial assistance.
We will remind, last week the media reported that 500 million euros from the European Commission may be sent to Ukraine in February.
As reported by UNN, in December, the Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis said that granting Ukraine the EU macro-financial assistance had remained outstanding for two terms.
