American and Australian scientists have joined forces to search for means to prevent neurodegeneration provoked by the accumulation of amyloid and Tau proteins in the human brain. Research Institute of molecular medicine and the University of California in Irvine proved that this phenomenon is one of the main reasons for the development of Alzheimer’s disease. And to avoid it, you need to slow down the growth of harmful proteins.
And amyloid and Tau proteins well understood, the search for means that would reduce their concentration, is very long. Not to say that unsuccessfully, but it did not give the desired result – prevention of neurodegeneration. In the end, after the failure with the individual drugs, the idea arose to create a combined means for the simultaneous impact of both types of proteins.
Took the two vaccines, called AV-1959R and AV-1980R, the combination of which is called “Advax”. Advax was developed by Nikolai Petrovsky, scientists from Australia’s Flinders University, as a universal remedy. It radically reduces the amount of amyloid and Tau proteins in the human body, this impact can be run at any stage.
As he said Petrovsky, experiments on mice showed that application of Advax as a preventive measure, virtually eliminates the accumulation of dangerous proteins and significantly reduces the risk of neurodegeneration. If animals have excess protein, Advax allows you to quickly get rid of them. Petrovsky believes that the new decade will bring a breakthrough in this direction, and the first experimental vaccines will start to check on the people after a few years.
