KIEV. 22 Nov. UNN. In the sea near the scene of the accident of the tanker in Odessa 53 times exceeded the content of oil products. About this on his page in Facebook said the acting head of State environmental inspection of Ukraine Egor Firsov, reports UNN.

“Today near Odessa stranded tanker “Delphi” (under the flag of Moldova). The state inspectors on protection of surrounding environment of the Crimean – black sea region carried out and conducted sampling of waters at the location of the impounded tankers and transferred to the Department instrumentalno-laboratory control of Inspection. As a result, found above the content in water of oil products in 53 times at the scene,” wrote Yegor Firsov.

He also noted that constant monitoring of the occurrence of pollution, the state inspectors are on the scene.

“Representatives of the State ecological inspection in accordance with the law and procedures calculate the damage done to the environment, with subsequent treatment of the claim about damage compensation. Now, State inspectors for the protection of the natural environment of the Crimean – black sea region together with representatives of the USPA conducted a second survey of the site of the emergency event and re-sampling in connection with the stains of oil composition”, – said Yegor Firsov.

Recall that tanker tanker Delfi in a violent storm on the night of 21 November drifted aground on the coast near the port of Odessa.

On 22 November, the tanker overturned. Later all crew members of the stricken vessel were rescued.
