The accused in the attack near Kharkov Palace of sport left the custody of

KIEV. 21 Oct. UNN. Kharkiv court of appeal upheld the trial court’s decision on extending the measure of restraint accused of the terrorist act near the sports Palace in Kharkov. It is reported by UNN citing the press service of the Kharkiv court of appeal.

“The judges dismissed the appeal complaints of the defence counsel and the accused in the attack near the Palace of Sports in Kharkov, leaving the trial court’s decision on extending the measure of restraint without changes”, – stated in the message.

As reported UNN, September 3, the accused was extended the measure until November 1, and refused to satisfy petitions of the accused about the change and cancellation of measures.

We will remind, the attack near the Palace of sports in Kharkiv occurred on 22 February 2015 during the procession on the occasion of the anniversary of the victory of the revolution of dignity. The explosion killed two people and wounded 11 people. Subsequently, two died in hospital. Among those killed schoolboy Daniel Didyk.

On suspicion in the attack was detained three citizens of Kharkiv: Vladimir Dvornikov, Sergei Bashlykova and Viktor Tatskogo. According to investigators, they were recruited by Russian intelligence and trained on the territory of Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. According to the investigation data, during the attack, the perpetrators were supposed to get 10 thousand dollars.

The charges in committing a terrorist act and illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives (part 3 of article 258, part 1 of article 263 UK of Ukraine).

In February 2017, the Prosecutor of the region Yuri Danilchenko said that the accused in the attack and defense delay the proceedings, although, according to the Prosecutor, was completed by 90%.

In April 2017, the court started hearing the case about the attack initially, because of the panel of judges have been replaced.

In total, according to the victims was a lawyer Oleg Golovkova, in 4.5 years, the hearing was disrupted or has not occurred 170 meetings.
