In the Odessa region got burned on a bribe the Commissar – police

In Odessa region on suspicion in receiving a bribe in the amount of 6 thousand UAH detained the military Commissioner of one of regional military registration and enlistment offices. About it reports Department of protection of economy of Ukraine.

According to militiamen, Colonel demanded from the father of the recruit undue benefit to his son with impaired hearing, was not drafted. The officer also threatened in the event of a negative response to make every effort to recruit came to the forefront and incurred administrative liability for evasion of service. The man was forced to turn to the police for help.

Today, March 21, field investigators of Department of protection of the economy in Odessa region of Ukraine and investigators of the military Prosecutor of the southern region detained the chief in his office. “From his pocket, the police seized 6.2 thousand UAH, which he received from the father of the recruit as illegal benefit”, – told the police.

On this fact the military Prosecutor’s office opened criminal proceedings under part 3 St. 368 criminal code of Ukraine (acceptance of an offer, promise or obtaining illegal benefit by the official).

Currently at the place of work and residence of the Colonel is being searched.

March 20, 2017, employees of SBU together with the Prosecutor’s office of Kyiv detained the head of one of the village Council in Boryspil district of Kyiv region on suspicion in receiving a bribe.
