This was announced by Verkhovna Rada Commissioner on human rights Lyudmila Denisova on his page in Facebook.
She said that during the meeting, the sailors were interested in the fate of other Ukrainians being held in Russia and annexed Crimea.
“I calmed them and said that work is ongoing, and we will do everything possible and impossible, but all our citizens are bound to be released,” – wrote the Ombudsman.
As UNIAN reported earlier, all of the 24 Ukrainian seafarers who were detained by the FSB of the Russian Federation during the Russian aggression in the Kerch Strait, returned to Ukraine on 7 September in the framework of the exchange of detainees with Russia.
