The outcomes of the meeting on energy issues held at the Office of the President, it follows that the formula “Rotterdam+” ensures the lowest purchase price of coal for Ukraine – 1741 UAH per ton.
This is stated in the material edition “Browser”,
reports “Диалог.UA”.
For comparison, the price of the Ukrainian state-owned mines
is 2500 UAH per ton when the real cost 3966 UAH/ton. Import
thermal coal from South Africa will cost in 1811 UAH/ton, from the United States and Colombia more
more expensive – 1913 UAH/ton.
As noted Butusov, it was found that the loads on Ukraine
warehouses of more than 49 thousand tons of coal per day, and the actual consumption of 73 thousand tons in
day. If stocks are not replenished, then they will last only until mid-October.
“So you have to make a decision: how to buy coal for
thermal generation?.. It turned out that it is profitable to buy or Colombia
1900 UAH per ton, or… according to the “Rotterdam +” the NAB
and SAP are high-profile criminal case and assess the damage from the schema in 19
billion,” he added.
“Rotterdam+,” said Dekovic Timchenko
[the General Director of DTEK Maxim Timchenko], now provides the lowest
price – 1700 hryvnia per ton. Well, that is quite likely – the Donbas coal,
which is sold through Russia for several hundred kilometers around the front,
will, of course, cheaper than any other delivery scheme of any other coal”,
– the journalist continued.
“A paradoxical situation… But the solution is not accepted. Judging
around, to reduce tariffs for industry and replace “Rotterdam+”
something else will be a new Cabinet,” – he stressed.
Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko has responded to
message Butusov in Facebook: “But let… And how is it… After all, Rotterdam+… Huckster… Rates… Cashing in… good inside”.
