The President of the United States Donald trump held a telephone conversation with French leader Emmanuel Macron, in the course of which supported the proposal to invite Russia to the summit “the Big seven” in 2020.
“Trump and macron spoke on the phone today and agreed that they want to invite Russia to the G7 next year,” wrote on Twitter the CNN reporter Kylie Atwood.

She noted that trump is expected to begin to discuss this topic at the G7.
Earlier, the us President called for a return of Russia in the G8.
