Macron has promised to Putin to bring Russia back into the “Big eight” on one condition

The return of Russia and the restoration of the “Big eight” depends on the settlement fomented by the Kremlin of an armed conflict in the Donbass.

The President of France Emmanuel macron made a statement about the return of Russia in the “Big eight” on one condition, reports “Dialog. UA”.

This opinion was sounded from the leader of France Emmanuel Makron at a press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“The return of the “Big eight” as a return to positive relations between Russia and the EU, are using the solution to the conflict in Europe,” said macron.

It is noteworthy that the meeting in the format of “the Big seven” will be held in France this weekend.

“The issue of “Big eight” dependent on the Ukrainian crisis and its settlement”, – said macron, thus confirming the position of Paris in the war in Donbas and annexation of Crimea.

We will remind, macron put forward tough conditions for a meeting in the “Normandy format”, voicing the role Zelensky and Vladimir Putin.
