In 2014-2019 years in the Armed forces of Ukraine delivered more than 11.9 thousand samples of weapons and military equipment and about 1.4 million units of weapons.

This was stated by the Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak during a meeting of the Committee for the reform of the Ministry of defense and the APU, the press service of the Ministry.

According to him, in addition, decided to adopt the 120 samples, restored the health of over 12 thousand units of the ATA, steps were taken to develop the production of missiles and ammunition for national enterprises, the Program of rocketry.

Also, said Poltorak, completes the test rocket complex “Alder”, adopted a set of measures to strengthen the forces and means of air defense, including anti-missile shield, introduced a new logistics system.

The Minister stressed that over the years from foreign partners, especially from the United States of America, was received logistical help worth over 360 million dollars. Also, the defense Ministry was authorized for the purchase of weapons imports from foreign partners.

In addition, Poltorak reported on the development of the concept and the introduction of a temporary installation on logistics, conduct key actions to create a unified and effective system of logistics of the defense forces, the formation and acquisition opportunities Command forces logistics and the Directorate of logistics.

“Now continuing the experiment on logistics according to the NATO principles, the system of clothing embedded 17 NATO standards, introduced more than 100 new items of clothing and equipment and specified standards of security,” – stated the Minister of defence.

Speaking about the reform of the system of supply of armed forces of Ukraine, Poltorak noted that now in the APU 73 the transition of military units to the new food supply system using the directory food items.
