As reported on the website of national police, about 1 a.m. on August 18, the police asked the woman who reported that her boyfriend locked himself in the house and he may have a grenade. Together with her 9-year-old daughter managed to run outside and call police officers.

On this fact opened criminal proceedings: under part 1 of article 345 (threat or violence concerning the employee of law enforcement body) and part 1 of article 263 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (illegal weapon handling, fighting supplies or explosives). To the man threatens from three till seven years of imprisonment.
Earlier in Odessa law enforcement authorities detained a former soldier who sold the weapon and ammunition from the zone of Operations of the joint forces.
