Three white obelisk is set in the heart of Boston in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack at the finish line of the Boston marathon on 15 April 2013, the Associated Press reports.

The creation of the monument took four years, informs the Agency. It was planned to open last year, the fifth anniversary of the tragedy, but completion has been delayed due to changes in design.
