Poltorak said about the military awards to the Independence Day
KIEV. 19 Aug. UNN. Financial resources are sufficient vipty awards to servicemen of the Independence Day of Ukraine. This was stated by the Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak in an exclusive interview with the News Agency АрмияInform, reports UNN with reference to the press service of the defense Ministry.
“The President has accepted the decision about payment of bonuses to the military for Independence Day — we have the financial resource allows you to implement it. And I will sign the corresponding order on the appropriate payments. And to not have been around the military parades of the discussions, we need clearly to define in law the order of carrying out of parades,” — said Poltorak.
According to him, to hold a parade or not is decided by the commander in chief — the President of Ukraine in his decree. This year he decided not to hold the parade, the defence Ministry will fulfill this decision.
Also, Poltorak noted that it is necessary clearly to define in law the order of carrying out of parades.
“To not have been around the military parades of the discussions, we need clearly to define in law the order of carrying out of parades. That is, when and on what event to hold, what is the purpose”, he added.
As reported UNN, the President’s Office announced the plan of events for Independence Day, which this year will be no military parade in the “new format”. Official events should begin on August 24 at 9:30 near the memorial cross on the spot death of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes with a national moment of silence.
