KIEV. August 17. UNN. The fire at the hotel in Odessa, which killed eight people, was on the second floor. This was stated by the Director of the Department of response to emergency situations Volodymyr Demchuk during a briefing, the correspondent of UNN.

“The fire was on the second floor of the hotel,” said Demchuk.

According to him, the situation was complicated by the rapid development and spread of fire on structural elements, late notification about the fire, and a large number of rooms, some of which were even no Windows.

Demchuk also added that now the cause of the fire is established.
