KIEV. August 17. UNN. In July of this year was the planned check of the hotel “Tokyo star” in Odessa, where a fire killed 8 people, however due to the change of ownership representative State emergency service for review was not allowed. This was stated by the Deputy Director of emergency response DSNs Ukraine Pavel Afanasiev during the briefing, the correspondent of UNN.

“The state emergency service was scheduled in July of this year, the test hotel (“Old Tokyo” – ed.) but because the owner of the hotel changed ownership, the representative of the State service for emergency situations on the test were not admitted,” – said Afanasiev.

According to him, was drawn up the relevant documents – the act of admission, to inform the relevant authorities.

In addition, it is reported that the fire was on the second floor of the hotel.

We will remind, on the night of 17 August in Odessa at the hotel there was a fire, there are 8 victims. Because of the fire de-energize the tram depot.

As reported UNN, the fact of the fire at the hotel in Odessa initiated criminal proceedings.
