Torture suspect four police officers from the Dnieper

KIEV. June 20. UNN. Investigators of territorial administration of the State Bureau of investigation located in the city of Poltava, reported about suspicion to the four police Industrial police Dnipropetrovsk region for the torture of man. About it UNN reported in a press-service GBR.

According to investigators, a group of four police officers in November 2018 after the arrest of a resident of the Dnieper born in 1992, using force, forced the latter to confess to the theft. According to the findings of expert studies the victim discovered numerous injuries of moderate severity.

In RRG explained that if the man confessed to the crime, he would be notified of the suspicion under part 3 of article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (the theft connected to penetration into housing, other room or storage or which caused significant damage to the victim). Such a charge is punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term from three to six years.

“Police announced on suspicion of committing criminal offenses under part 2 of article 127, part 2.St. 28 and part 1.St. 365 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (torture on preliminary arrangement by group of persons and the abuse of power or official authority). Investigators RRT sent a petition for election of a suspect measure of restraint in form of detention and removal from office”, – have informed in a press-service.

In the case of evidence of guilt, the police can be punished with imprisonment for a term of five to ten years.
