Case Trukhanov submitted to the court in Odessa
KIEV. June 14. UNN. The indictment against the Odessa mayor Gennady Trukhanov, who is accused of declaring false information is directed to seaside district court of Odessa city. About this UNN reports quoting the press service of NABOO.
“June 14, 2019 indictment against the Odessa mayor is directed to seaside district court of Odessa city. The official is accused of committing a crime under article 366-1 of the Criminal code of Ukraine”, – stated in the NABS.
According to the investigation, “the mayor of Odessa undeclared: the apartment, two Parking spaces, a boathouse, cottage, real estate, two vehicles, equity interests in certain entities interest on deposits in banks”. “Just a Declaration for 2015, the official has not made a fortune on the total amount of 32.48 million UAH, the Declaration of 2016 – by 18.81 million. The size of the undeclared status are determined on the basis of examinations conducted in the pre-trial investigation”, – said the police.
March 11, 2019 the mayor of Odessa reported about suspicion. During the pre-trial investigation, investigators of the National Bureau also established the facts of illegal enrichment of the Odessa mayor in the amount of more than 3 million pounds.
