“Ukrgazvidobuvannya” since the beginning of the year, gas production increased

Ukraine’s largest gas company “Ukrgazvydobuvannya” in January-may of current year has increased natural gas production by 2.3% compared to the same period last year – up to 6,441 billion cubic meters.

“According to operational data, extraction of “ukrgazvidobuvannya” in January-may 2019 is 6,441 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is 145 million cubic meters higher than in the same period last year”, – stated in the message.

It is noted that during may, the company produced 1.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas to the existing resource base. According to the international company DeGolyer, as of 1 January 2019 total reliable and probable gas reserves of the company amount to 264,2 billion cubic meters, but most of the fields “ukrgazvidobuvannya” have a low reservoir pressure and high levels of poverty.

“For effective work on this resource base, GWL attracts its own divisions and collaborates with leading international companies in areas such as drilling sidetracks, fracturing, coiled tubing operations, works on capital repair of wells, installation of plunger lifts and other”, – noted in press service.

It is reported that the extension of the resource portfolio, the company actively participated in the two rounds of e-auctions Gosgeonedr and acquired 6 new sites.

It also reported that “ukrgazvidobuvannya” joined the competition of the Ministry on the conclusion of agreements on production section and applied for the development of 9 areas, 4 of which the company plans to develop together with the leading international public company Vermilion Energy.

As reported the UNIAN, “ukrgazvidobuvannya” in 2018 compared to 2017, increased natural gas production by 1.6% to 15,496 billion cubic meters.
