In Odessa exposed to a powerful drug cartel

KIEV. May 17. UNN. In Odessa law enforcement authorities detained the defendants in the drug group who were distributing cocaine in the center and West of Ukraine. The investigation of the cartel lasted from January 2019. It is reported by UNN with reference to the state of Ukraine in Odessa region.
According to information, the organizer of a criminal group was 42-the summer native of the Transcarpathian region, who now lives in Odessa. He coordinated the actions of the members of the group, took delivery of the drug item and was responsible for its storage. His closest associates, who were directly sold cocaine to customers – also the residents of Odessa, 43 and 50. Further documentation of the law enforcement officers found another two dozen involved in the drug persons living in Kiev and Transcarpathian region.
The investigators found that the channel of drugs was established through the Western border of Ukraine: Uzhgorod – moved to Kyiv, Lviv and Odessa. One gram of the product customers paid dealers $ 100-150.
Employees of internal security of the NHRI carried out expeditious purchases of cocaine worth more than UAH 100 000. During the RAID, law enforcement officers carried out 16 raids on the territory of Odessa, Kiev and Transcarpathian region for the place of residence of defendants in the group and in their cars.

So, it seized 13 000, 12 000, 14 500 hryvnia, jewelry, more than 4 thousand counterfeit dollars, as well as different kinds of weapons, ammunition, explosive devices and substances, 2 car BMW X5, Toyota RAV4 – double, office equipment and mobile phones, false and real documents as well as cocaine itself.
The organizer and his two closest accomplices already declared suspects, they are placed in a temporary detention facility. Now submitted to the court the petition for election of a measure of restraint in form of detention without the right of bail. Dealers are threatened with imprisonment for the term up to 10 years with confiscation of property.
As reported by UNN, in the Kiev special forces soldiers detained the drug dealers.
